GPU Availability improving?

in the past 2 weeks I've been able to buy a Vision OC 3060ti, an Asus tuf 3060ti and just today a 3090 FE at retail price from scan. 

They had 3080ti and 3090 available for a good half an hour. 

Is supply improving? It is certainly seems like it 

 

By the way I have two kids (both gamers) and although I already have a 3070ti in my own rig I plan to swap it out for the 3090, in other words I'm not a scalper

I didn't have any trouble buying a 3080ti back in October, other than it being 40% more expensive than it should have been (don't judge, I was desperate). 3070ti were pretty plentifully too, albeit over MSRP. Non-ti 3070 and 3080 were much thinner on the ground and up for about the same or more as the cheapest of their ti equivalents. Loads of 3090s though. AMD cards were in very short supply, and priced accordingly. So in the UK (and buying off Scan I'm assuming you are too) supply hasn't been that tight for a while, well not at the prices they are charging. At least it sounds like it hasn't gotten worse again.

Agreed. But considering I paid £595 for the vision 3060ti, £680 for the Asus tuf 3060 ti and £799 for the msi 3070 ti I was absolutely delighted to pay £1399 for the 3090 FE
