Use a Thunderbolt dock (hub) if you needed multiple ports or a Thunderbolt 3 to usb type a adapter for a single port.

I recently built my first pc and I want thunderbolt usb ports, I wanna get the ASUS ThunderboltEx to go with my ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING but im still kinda confused on how it works. Does it make all the usb ports in the Rear IO thunderbolt usb ports or smth?

so how can i get thunderbolt usb a ports? do i need to buy another extension? if i remember correctly theres only usbc and minidisplay ports for the ASUS ThunderboltEX
