(Well this post isn't really for me but for a friend.

Basically he has sold his RTX 2060 MSI which came pre-built into his PC, and bought another GPU the 1050ti which prior was working fine as I even tested it in my system._

The issue is that when he boots his PC up there is a black screen and no video output seems to be displaying on the monitor which was just working when the 2060 was in the system

It gives an audio response on the headphones like a beep but no display at all even through connecting it to the CPU.

0 Video Output seems to be coming up no bios or anything

Everything turns on like lights, GPU fans CPU etc a noise is also heard through headset a bit different to how it used to be when turned on then nothing else, no audio output from windows or anything

The PC I believe s a prebuilt MSI infinite S I believe and it has a i5-9400F CPU, which I think it has no integrated graphics however we tried plugging in a HDMI cable into the motherboard output and that also still has a black screen with no video being detected by the monitor.

The GPU has been tried with a Display Port and HDMI and they seem to not have worked

He's tried:
Reseating the GPU (until it clicks into place)

Connecting into the CPU

Using different cables in the GPU

I'd try and help but he lives a bit far and I don't really have a car

Thanks for the help guys in advance

Did this 1050ti ever run in this machine?

Is it a whitebox prebuilt or an OEM prebuilt such as a Dell, HP, or Lenovo?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

The PC he has is an OEM pre-built from MSI

Mine is just a custom PC which I've built myself.

I tested the 1050ti and used in games for a bit as well for a bit and it worked fine but in his prebuilt system it isn't working at all

Hmmm..  I didn’t know MSI did OEMs or at least not in the sense of doing custom hardware for them.  If this was, say, a Dell, it might have been possible that Dell only included video cards they sold for the machine in the bios and a 1050ti might have simply not been in it.  I suppose this might possibly be true for a MSI machine, but it seems even less likely.  One thought is if the motherboard is standard atx or is identical functionally to one of MSI’s atx boards it might be that you simply want to get new drivers and the correct bios onto it.  One issue with windows though is the “uninstall wizards” aren’t reliable and, especially with video drivers, leave enough stuff behind to destroy functionality of future video cards.  There appear to be two solutions for this I have heard of.  One is to clean install the OS, and the other is to use a program called “DDU” which makes sure such bits of drivers are actually gone. It has very specific instructions which need to be followed.  I don’t know whether such a problem would occur only when windows is booted or previous to that in post though.
