LTT seems to be using some type of bracket.

That looks like a better way of doing it. The frame will be simpler that way (just attaching the strips to the back, instead of making a channel/groove for it)

I am making a nerf gun rack for my son's wall. I've seen the rack you have, in some of your videos, and thought I'd throw together something similar. (Because yours look awesome.) My question is this... How do you have them mounted to the wall, yet spaced from the wall, so as to not block the led strips on the back of the frame?  If you're willing to share you slick design, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks in advance, love your videos,
Jeremy.

You're idea looks like it would definitely work, but screwing it into the wall seems like it would take some pretty long screws, my aim would have to be accurate to hit the studs. ( I'm not much of a woodworker, so There may be a better way than just running long screws through it which I'm not aware of.)
However, LTT seems to be using some type of bracket. (See attached photo.)
