5600G no GPU. Will add something basic if the opportunity arises later on.

 

I've gone for a 3600Mhz ram kit, but not sure the mobo is going to take it....is that going to be a negative? Should I swap the mobo? If so what for?

You will likely need to either ensure the retailer has updated the BIOS to work with the 5000 chips, or you'll need an older chip to perform it yourself.

 

Your RAM should work fine

Could be worth looking into a B550 'board; might cost a bit more but Zen 3 support will be assured.

I think I'll switch it to a Gigabyte B550M DS3H.

 

or an MSI B550M Bazooka
