Windows not displaying actual storage space

Pikatchu

I have recently removed a drive from my Storage Pool, but Windows did not update the amount of space there is for the mapping. (Storage Pool shows correct amount, but Storage Space showed 5.45 which is incorrect.)

Is there a way to do it without wiping the pool or formatting the pool again? I could not figure out how to do so without clearing the drives.

The storage space can be larger than the pool, so removing a drive from the pool doesn't reduce the storage space capacity.

You can see that Storage Spaces allows me to create a storage space larger than the pool:

Id just keep it the way it is, or you can shrink the partition on the virtual disk if you want.

Unfortunately Storage Spaces doesn't support shrinking virtual disks, only expanding.

EDIT: Actually, just realised you mentioned specifically the partition on the vdisk, which you can shrink.
