so my sister got her son who is 12 this laptop https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/leader-companion-402-minecraft-edition-laptop-celeron-4-64gb-leminecrft?showProductTab=reviews#specifications

it runs windows 10 s and for having only 4gb it runs really good

hes wanted to play garry's mod and some other older games from a micro sd card but im really not sure how well this laptop could run the full windows 10 since it only has 4gb ram and no way to upgrade it

hes happy to stick with s mode but if performance is not going to be much worse i will switch it from s mode

yeah but you can switch from s mode to normal windows 10 and run anything you want op was asking how well windows could run on 4gb ram

Ive got a laptop an older laptop that came with windows 10 i got on clearance for 298nzd
Intel Celeron Processor N3050
4gb ram

500gb hdd
windows 10 home

once the laptop loads into windows takes around 30-40 seconds to get to desktop then i have to wait around 1min or so if i try to open or do anything it will be really slow but once laptop is fully loaded it runs fine

since the laptop in op post is running a faster emmc storage and cpu/igpu then my laptop i see them having no problem running the full windows 10 other then maybe the low amount of storage as the os and updates may use up most if not all of that storage

back when i used 8gb of ram windows 10 took like 65 percent of it with no apps open, you can do roblox and minecraft and i think that's about it
