plate mount click into your switch plate, while screw-in screw into your PCB.

generally speaking, screw-ins are more stable. but you need a PCB that supports them. most boards come with plate mount stabs.

the GMMK pro comes with lubed and padded screw-in stabilizers out of the box. I wouldn't bother swapping them to be honest. You could try re-lubing to see if you can increase the feel that way, but even then improvement would be marginal at best.

if I were to lube them I would have to take them out and the re lube them and then put them back in, but I could just take them out and put in the new stabs, and plus everyone is complaining that the goat stabs suck

if you don't know the difference between screw-in or plate mount, i very highly doubt that you will notice the feel in GOAT or Durocks, but i've been wrong before so whatever.

Personally i have a newer GMMK pro and i havn't experienced any issues with the stabilizers whatsoever. But YMMV as always.

keep in mind that lubing is also quite the thing on its own. If you're going for it, i recommend you try the Durocks a few times with different amounts of lube on the moving parts to see what difference it makes, and what you prefer. more lube means sluggish movement but smoother travel. Its a tradeoff you gotta make.
