Arctic fan hub problem or pc problem

dimxhej

hi.  i bought an arctic fan hub 10 to connect my fans.  Im try to install today.  it is connected by psu with sata connector 12 volts, and the rest is connected to system fan 4 pin.  but there are only two threads for pwrm.  I connected all the things and the fans and turned on the pc.  Directly shut down.  i make the fan hub disconected and the pc turned on again.  I did the same thing and it went off again as soon as I connected the  cable to fan hub.  what problem are you going I want your opinion.?  my psu is an corsair vs white 550w 10 months old. My system asus prime b560 plus.cpu i3-1000, 16gb ram kingston and gtx1050ti, ssd 256gb + hdd 1tb

so either its a short to ground in the hub or u connected the sata the wrong way.. most likely the first one

What? You disconnected the cpu 8pin? Why? If you disconnected that, your pc will not turn on.

Yes I know what jumping the PSU is. But when you jump the PSU the computer will not start. I thought that is what his issue was. That is expected behaviour. Maybe I am not understanding what his problem is?!

Why is he disconnecting the 8 pin to test a fan hub? After disconnecting the 8 pin, why is he expecting the computer to turn on?
