Upgrade Optiplex

My budget is $0-200

I would like to play Minecraft on maxish settings at 60fps and roblox at max on 60fps

i have a core i5 3475S with 16gb ddr3 and a 120gb ssd.

I would like to go a case swap (try to find one with built in fans), motherboard swap ( make sure mobo is ddr3 and comparable with my cpu), psu swap (the current psu is not atx), a cooler, And a graphics card.

This might be a hard task to find good parts but I don’t want to go used on the psu or have under gold.

Honest to god you gonna be better off updating the CPU and GPU that you got, because 200$ is not a lot to begin with. What specific optiplex model do you own?

if your PC doesn't crash, you don't have a PSU issue

 

have you tried downloading performance-enhancing modifications yet? If not, I might be able to help, as after over 3,000 hours I learned a thing or two about Minecraft

Ive tried optifine, and the sodium one. But I only get 30fps

you need to use more than just sodium, as a matter of fact there's around 30 mods you should have downloaded

Get yourself a xeon e3 1230 v2. They can be had for around $30 from aliexpress and add in a GPU like a gt1030 / gtx 750ti (something that doesnt suck much power)

remember, some of these might not have support for 1.18, or even 1.17, so be sure to check before downloading them, and I have no promises that they will solve all your fps issues, but I can guess that it will help at least a little bit
