Picked up a G502 (cabled version) today to replace my Corsair Nightblade. I like my mice pretty heavy so I loaded up all the wheighty things and closed the lid (which could see better build quality btw) and noticed that the mouse was snagging on my ROG Scabbard mousepad. I removed the lid (which could definitly see better build quality btw) and the mouse moves smoothly around without any snagging.

Once upon a time Logitech had good QC but not anymore? Or is it user error? I put some wheighty things in the wrong places?

II have no issue with the lid on mine, its flat and stays on fine

Could you take a picture of the mouse bottom with the lid and how the weights are put in?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Don't think so...

Maybe I managed to press the weights better into the things, it seems a bit better. I guess it's just a very tight fit and they need to be pressed very firmly in. Still a bit of snagging though... Tiny bit.

Try picking out the weights and see if it still snags. If it does then return mouse imo

I've had 3 of these mice and none snagged on anything but you could very well have a defect

It doesn't I rearranged the weights and removed one and it didn't snag. But 3,6 grams was missing. If I can't get this configuration better I'll just go with that but thanks for the input. 🙂

Seems like it could be a deformed casting on the weight in that case, you could fix with a sanding belt, might wanna call Logitech and they might send a new weight set for your troubles possibly now that you narrowed issue down

Wouldnt hurt to ask, heh
