Problem with my PS4 controller!

saba17

Hello. My ps4 controller just started to do weird things. The problem is that right analog stick does things for himself.I have this problem for 2-3 weeks now.At first problem was not that crazy. It only moved left sometimes, but other than that everything was perfect, but now right analog stick just does everything weird. Its random, sometimes moves left in game, sometimes right. When i try to touch it,everything goes even crazy. Why would this happen and how can i fix it? (Sorry for my English.I hope i wrote everything right!)

Its called stick drift there isn't much you can do as I don't think you can replace the sticks individually.

Take a can of compressed air and blow into the joystick ball. Solved a few problematic controllers doing this

Cleaning the troublesome potentiometer with isopropyl alcohol has always worked for me. You can find tutorials how to do it online. It's not too difficult.

I've never had to replace a potentiometer or any other parts on any of my ps4 controllers.
