The 500GB 840 EVO's are on sale by like $20 and i am wanting to get one. There $250.95 right now and basically i wont need them for a month or two so do think i should go ahead and get one now or wait. If i wait do you think there'll be a better deal in two months time. btw, it has to be the 500GB version

Eh $20 off isn't really that great of a deal. I'm sure it'll go on sale again. If it doesn't, just spend the extra $20. It's not much.

OP what do you need an SSD for that can't be done by a regular hard drive? Look at the price you are going to pay for a 500 GB SSD and realize you can get Seagate 3 TB hard drives for $100. $150 kept in your pocket would be nice wouldn't it?

I have a HDD right now and its slow, granted it is 5400rpm but still. Also its not just one, its two 500GB SSD's
