So I just finished my brand new pc and I want to configure the RGB but my CPU fan is going crazy, The lights are going crazy and sometimes the lights don't even turn on. The RGB fan is wired though a 3 pin 5 volt RGB cable. The motherboard that I am using is the MSI b550 Gaming Carbon Wifi. What can I do?

Are you using the stock cooler? What cooler are you using?

I have and it glitches out every time.

I know with my ASRock board I had to reset the LED controller in order for all the LEDs not to spaz out. I'm guessing you'll have to do something similar, though I don't exactly know how.

That said, looking at this motherboard manual, there is a switch that can turn all the LEDs on or off. If it's stuck in the middle for some reason, it could cause your issues. It's not likely, but might as well check the easy stuff first. I'm also not great with RGB stuff, so anything more than figuring out the wiring is beyond me.
