Intel E5300 OC

I have an old pc, i m thinking of ocing it, but the psu is not very trustable so is it even worth giving it a try?
Specs:
Intel Pentium E5300 2.60GHz
4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 399MHz (5-5-5-18)
Gigabyte G31M-ES2L rev.1
AMD Radeon HD 7700 1gb ddr5
