So I just upgraded from a 1050 Ti to a 3060 Ti oc. I maxed out the graphical settings in all games and noticed things looked wierd. In the most games for example Far cry 4 and Halo infinite in highy detailed places like cliffs and trees every single texture gets smeared. It hurts my eyes and it is really hard to see what's going on. Playing on lower graphical settings fixes the problem wich is wierd. And games like, forza and gta don't have any problems at all on max graphics. War Thunder only has ghosting on other peoples game tags but on nothing else. My monitor do have a 4ms response time but i didn't have any problems before.

Plz help

Thanks in advance!

try turning down/off your taa (antialiasing) settings.

also, turn off motion blur

I already have my motionblur off and I don't think anti taa is the problem because I have same or higher taa settings in games that work normally

But I'l check

4ms response time isn't great, what refresh rate is your monitor is it a 60hz?

Also try resetting the picture settings on the monitor so that you aren't using any contrast enhancers or weird motion enhancing modes.

I have a 240hz one.

With my old gpu i rarely noticed any ghosting in game.

I'l check my monitor settings

Could you give some extra info?

Are you using gsync / gsync compatibility mode?

is your res 1080p?

What kind of FPS are you getting when this is happening?

Report back after resetting the monitor settings

My monitor is 1080p so I run that resolution in all games.

I am using gsync compatability mode

It happens around 120fps or higher.

I did a factory settings reset and I noticed no differance
