So I was rebuilding my rig into a new case, I'm in the middle of buying new parts such as Case(Corsair 300R - Just got it today), GPU(GTX 770 Meant to be this week), PSU (Not sure which one), cooling etc

SO I was building it back up and had made a few mistakes and ended up spending 5 HOURS trying to do this. So I have some sh*tty PSU that doesn't even have a brand name on it! Anyway I was trying to connect my 4pin for my CPU and it wouldn't reach!!!! Got me so frustrated! So now I've unscrewed my PSU and its just sitting in the middle of my case.

What should I do:

a) Buy a fairly cheap PSU BEFORE I get my GPU?

or

b) Buy a GPU and just leave my PSU until I can afford one?

Question: Can you get 4 Pin extenders? :o

Check newegg for sleeved extensions. They are like $8. Get like a CX500/600, and I'm sure it'll be more than enough for a decent cpu and a 770. And, they're relatively cheap.

Yea think I'll just get a new PSU because I'm going to be upgrading it anyway and £35 isn't much (Getting CX500 = £35)
