Okay so this summer I am going to start playing piano (taking a class) and I have a few questions.

1): Okay so im not well coordinated, I never really played much sports, so I cant really move my fingers at different paces, kind of like that thing where people tell you to rub your stomach.....well I dont really know how it goes, but anyways I cant do that.

2): Whats a nice cheap decent keyboard (I dont have the room for a full blown piano).

3): Any addition tips would be nice.

You can try the Hanon series for finger excersises to help with #1. http://www.hanon-online.com/ (practising scales could help too with fingering and what not)

Not too sure about keyboards...tbh I kinda hate them going from my old clavinova to an upright piano (the price is worth it imo even if it's just an upright)

My #1 mistake while I had lessons back then was I always tried to perfect the whole piece instead of perfecting it piece by piece. Don't make that mistake :P just perfect each bar or 2 at a time and you'll gradually learn it. Make sure to follow the rhythm cause once you practice the wrong one, it's 10x harder to correct it.

One thing that helped me is using (weakish) rubber bands connecting each finger to another (so index to ring, index to middle, middle to pinky etc) and practicing tapping each in sequence (like when you roll fingers on a desk or tapping in a set sequence). Doing this will develop early muscle memory which will help you later on when you play a composition.

Also learning to do things in measured rythm will help. Get a tempo device (very inexpensive usually) and learn to tap in tempo, as well as foot tap, and moving your arms. Eventually if you keep it up all of your movements will start to become rhythmic.
