Okay, So i've only ever bought one thing from NCIX.ca and that was at least 4 years ago, I have no idea how their shipping was. I was wondering if anyone has any experience? Is it anywhere near as fast as Newegg.ca? I like their shipping and would prefer to buy there. However NCIX actually for once has a better price on something i want... Sadly Newegg.ca doesn't do pricematch. So what's the shipping like?

I've never had a bad experience with NCIX. Hell they RMA'd my card long after the retailer warranty was in effect just to save me the hassle of sending my card to the states.

Im on the east coast so anything from NCIX gets to me no sooner than 5-7 days with ground shipping, but it would help if they shipped out same day as order is placed but that may have been just for me

Why would you order from NCIX if you reside in Switzerland? I mean... it sucks that it was shipped to the wrong continent and all.... but it boggles my mind that you'd order from another entirely different continent in the first place.

I needed a very specific type of tubing that I couldn't find anywhere here, then when I was looking at my option to buy it, Linus always going on about their international shipping came to mind. The cost really wasn't that bad either.

The only  memorable hiccups I've had in NCIX shipping are orders sent from two different warehouses and  received in two separate shipments on different days.

This just happened to me on my most recent order. One of the items was a special order (which I failed to realize) that had to be dropped shipped from another company's warehouse all together, even THOUGH  it was all part of the same order. So I got the special order item one day before the other one, which was actually a good thing.

I had ncix shipping cause me so much headaches for my build.

My original invoice amount was 229.99 cad (amount which i paid)

BUT when they shipped to me and when UPS arrived at my door he was like yeah bro pay taxes for 600++ cad. (how does that even happen???)

It was clearly labeled on the box 229.99 for the first box and 0 for the other.

Worst of all was that my country requires UPS to prepay taxes and duties even before reaching the consignee which created all sorts of billing headache.

After 3 weeks of bouncing calls back and forth UPS and emails to NCIX, (Their ticket response time was abysmal, can take up to 3-4 days to give 1 short reply)

I finally got my item after 3 weeks. It was literally sitting in UPS warehouse for like 2 weeks plus.

For some reason, this can't seem to be settled between UPS and NCIX. I had to personally make calls to UPS, then relay the instructions to NCIX. Wait for NCIX to reply me, then reply the info back to UPS.

Utterly ridiculous.

Isn't it justifiable that i should have received some compensation for my time wasted? I could have literally rejected my order and place another one and still get it earlier.

Apparently not. The moment i mentioned compensation to the NCIX representative, they flat out ignore my email.

Prolly never going to order from NCIX again. Probably.

Depends on what you buy and when you buy it.  If you buy a full pc from them around the holidays they might be quite backlogged, if you order a few loose parts during regular season then it will likely ship out within a day and then its in the shippers hands and you can't blame ncix for anything that happens beyond then.  I recently ordered a Lenovo y510p from them at like 9 or 10pm it shipped out early the next day and I had it within 3 days (I ordered in on a friday).
