MB shopping - AM4 (for a 5800X)

So i just bough myself a 5800X, Yay

right now im using the Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite, overall its a great board. pretty happy with it no complaints,

But im going to by another MB anyway to sell of my 3600 (its always easier to sell a system rather than just the CPU), so im considering an swapping it out

So im looking for a decent board

- Plenty of USB ports (6 + USB A, and one or more USB C 3.2)

- two or more M.2 slots

- SPDIF port

- built in IO shield (i know its dumb but i hate screwing around with them)

P.S for those of you who still a PS/2...,

are you ok? do you need a hug? should we call for help?聽 J/K 馃槃

I'd just get a b550 pro a for the 3600 system and keep your board. That is like by far the better idea here and far cheaper to boot.

Nothing really new basically. Same old same old just with the usual little while later amazing b550 boards that came out like the b550 pro a which is a 100-130$ board that handles a 5950x if you want it to :p.

Keep the board you have, you won't do as well with any B550 board.
Yes, chips like your 3600 will sell with ease and there is demand for them. Sell it, keep it as a backup (Just in case) or whatever and run the 5800X chip.
