Upgrading!

Hello!

So i recently bought a gaming setup it included a Monitor+pc+mouse and keyboard.

Monitor: Msi Optix Ag32CQ 2k 144Hz

Mouse and keyboard: Trust Gaming Gxt

And the pc has the following specs:

I7 7700

GTX 1070

16gb RAM

1tb HDD

256 m.2 SSD

550W Power Supply

+ Gaming Chair that the owner wanted to get rid of and gave it to me for free.

For all the above i paid 700 euros

 

Now my question is would it be possible to upgrade to an RTX 3070-3080?

Would the CPU bottleneck the GPU?

Or should i keep upgrade the CPU+GPU?

At this time upgrading the CPU (and motherboard) is so much less costly. I'd start from there - i5 12600K would be a good option.

Then perhaps GPU...

Eh, perhaps the PSU first - wha'ts the model number?

In short, yes. I would just play whatever games can run on that system and save money for a new build in the future.
