Does adding a new Tracker in µTorrent expand the library of the Tracker?

Go to solution Solved by mariushm,

The tracker doesn't have a list of files, or even data about the torrent. A tracker only has that info hash (sha-1 hash, 20 bytes or 40 characters if written in hexadecimal) and keeps in memory or in a database the users (well, the IP and port used by the torrent client) which download or upload content from the torrent with that info hash.

It also depends if the torrent file has the "private" flags set or not ... if the torrent is marked as private, the torrent client should not use p2p to discover peers and should not use other trackers to discover users, so adding another tracker may not produce any results.

Of cause in this scenario the tracker doesn't know the files yet, so unknown to them.

So if I add Tracker Lists do I actively expand the "find-ability" of files?
