Just built my first pc and I was able to boot up no problem. I was installing windows 10 pro and my pc was prompted to auto restart as one of the steps. When my pc booted back up I received a message “USB over current status detected” followed up by the pc shutting off 15 sec later. I’ve tried unplugging all external USB as well as internal. I’ve take the cmos out for 5+ min. Out of options at this point. 72E9FCFF-D933-41AA-8128-2859A4A7ECFB.thumb.jpeg.d6cbe6dc79ca1f617af58c4492b35394.jpeg

I’ve already replaced the motherboard.

is this the second motherboard with this issue?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

I did that, external usb as well as the usb connections on the motherboard. No luck

I dont know if you want to try it, but i had this issue, I was able to fix it on by b250m bazooka by taking the board, unplugging everything, and soaking it in 91% iso alcahol for 7 hours, then I took it out, shook it to get it off, and put it on a towel and used a hairdryer to dry it off

I could use some help with this!
