Thanks for the reply, I've actually got it to post with video output and I don't know how I missed it - the pcie slot isn't working. I'm getting video from the second pcie slot.

The manual says they are both pcie x16 slots - would there be any performance drop off from just using the second slot?

Yeah, that was going to be my next question about the PCIe slot and try moving the graphics card to another one to determine if it is dead.

I believe there is an asterick for the 2nd PCIe slot saying this is an x4 slot, even though it fits x16 width PCIe cards. I'd return the motherboard as you're not going to get the full bandwidth and this slot runs through the chipset, so there will be a performance hit there as it's not directly to the CPU. You can also see this is not a full x16 slot card as not all the pins go through the whole slot, they only go to x4 width, not x16.

Hi, I've just built a new pc for my friend and I'm not getting any video.

Specs are:
I5 11400f
Asus B560m-A Prime
16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz
Gtx 970
Corsair TX550M

So far I have:
Cleared CMOS, both removing battery and not
Tried the 970 in my system, it gave video output
Tried my 5700xt in this system, no video output
Re seated CPU
Re Seated RAMP
Disconnected and reconnected PCIe power cable from PSU (my and cpu 8 pin aren't modular)
Disconnected and reconnected my and cpu power cables from motherboard

I've no idea what to try next. Can anyone help me please?

I've attached photos of the LEDS on the motherboard and the build itself

Thanks in advance

Re Seated RAM

Were you able to get to a BIOS screen?

Looks like POST codes are stuck on DRAM and boot, either RAM is defective or missing and boot is ready, just needs an OS to be installed.
