Airflow and watercooling

Go to solution Solved by IronCross187,

Depends on the rest of your fans. I turned my inwards to cool the CPU and motherboard, with a side fan pulling air out away from the CPU and motherboard, and a final fan pushing air in at the front.

It could make a small difference or none at all, you may as well experiment with it and find the best configuration.

Should I turn my outward or back fan to face into the case so that more air travels upwards towards my Corsair H100i water cooling 120mmdual radiator ?

I turned mine around and it dropped temps a bit I really depends how much your pushing your H100i with my 8350 in the 5Ghz range its needed for the extra airflow

well i do have around 8 fans in my pc well going in since this is a new build i will be using a I7 4960x overclocked to around 4.8 if possible (>implying i am new and have never overclocked before but will use the tpu switch on the asus x79 deluxe board) so the only 2 outward fans will be my H100I radiator fans

Get a costum loop instead, or just send me the 4960x :) and I'd go with h110 instead if you still just want a prebuilt cooler and change the fans because they are noisy

Emmh... Maybe consider killing yourself before you talk to me?

Pople on this forum though some of them had a brain, turns out, no.

I have changed the case fans to Coolermaster Sickleflow120mm fans @2000RPM with blue leds. sound is not a concern to me. Also don't be a cunt and ask for a 900+ euro (I am from ireland) cpu which I recieved in a horrible state as it is. if i were to send it to you it would make you pay 5000 that's 5 times the price i paid so "Do you feel lucky, punk?"

also you spell custom as "custom" , also it's a H100i

You should have air coming in from the front and out though the back. However you might want to have the top as intakes to create positive pressure and reduce dust build up.

Also nice pic btw.

were you saying my pic? or bamer's?

Into, extra airflow for that H100i. I assume the front fans are intaking air?

yes they are i have nearly every possible fan mounts as intakes

There's almost no online store that takes less than a week to ship in Europe and you didn't say that story before I said send it to me.
