Just purchased some ram.

 I purchased a new pc 6 months ago, however it only had 8gb of ram, so now I've decided to upgrade it.

 

Is this ram any good? Kingston FURY 16Gb 2666, cl16 ddr4.?

 

I have a Ryzen 3 3300x processor, and a 1650 super GPU.

 

Also, debating leaving the existing 8gb module in, and just add this 16gb. Zen 2's memory controller can handle 3200MHz pretty handily... do you know the speed of the existing RAM?

Are you replacing that ram with the other ram or are you keeping that in? (Are you replacing old with new or keeping the old one in)

Probably leave it in, run 24 GB. The 3200 GHz was close to £10 more.and I couldn't justify the additional cost.

 

I don't play the most upto date AAA titles, so won't really benefit from the 2666 Vs 3200 speed difference.
