With the limited information you've given us:

  • check background tasks
  • reinstall gpu drivers using DDU first.

Checked background tasks. And drivers. Also looked for atifacting during gaming. Don't seem to be the issues. What other information would you like to know?

Sorry my husband did the build befor he met me. I am trying to do a new build for him. With the price of gpu s I want to use the old one. We have an Asus sabertooth mother board, i am sure it needs replacing because some of the capacitors are at an odd angle. An AMD 6 core fx 6100. 16gb ram sticks(4x 4gb sticks). 1 128gb ssd and 2x 2tb spinning dries. And NVMe wasn't even a thing back then.
