ahhhh, if its smoking, SHUT IT DOWN and find out where the smoke is coming from.

If you mean literal smokes coming out of your PC, start by unplugging it from the wall and making sure it is not on fire.

Agree with all the above - Check it before it really takes a smoke break on you in a REALLY bad way, and it's not like it isn't trying to already. 
If you don't, could be more than just the PC smoking in the end..... Like your home after the fire is out.

probably not the CPU itself, but sounds like probably VRM which is board killer. That board is likely dead or very very close to being dead.
