Can an electrical issue with gaming keyboard damage USB headers / mobo?

yeah I've contacted them about it, should be relatively easy to reproduce, is there much chance of it harming anything in my tower though?

No

My Corsair K70 RGB TKL keyboard has a rather temperamental USB-C female port (i.e. the choice of cable itself makes no difference) where even the slightest movement or bump to the cable causes it to move in the socket and the KB briefly disconnects and reconnects (less than a second).

Functionally it's fine and I can mitigate the issue by keeping the KB as still as I can but, unless I can find a fix or get it returned (iffy because IDK if it's enough to qualify as a fault), I'm worried that some kind of electrical issue could possibly damage my PC itself? I know it's unlikely because it's not receiving any more power than the USB port is giving it but, I just wanted to get more input.

Also, if anyone knows a solution for this problem re the USB-C port that'd also be much appreciated.

Sounds like a USB-c port issue in the keyboard. You should be able to RMA based on this. If you can record it happening, then it would be good for your RMA case.
