Behringer UMC22 crackling and popping sounds

My Audio Setup:

I have the XM8500 mic and DT 990 Pro headphones plugged into the UMC22 interface. The interface is plugged straight into my PC via USB 3.0.

I use the drivers from this video.

I get crackling and popping sounds at random moments. I don't know if it has something to do with what I am doing on my PC.

Is there anything I could do to fix this?

Hmm first off all what are you doing on your pc like doing some sort of music production or singing magic?Possibly try updating the drivers and see if all of the cables are plugged correctly and far in enough

I am not doing any kind of production, I just use it for gaming.

I tried the drivers from the Behringer website (the ASIO drivers), however I had problems setting it up, so it wouldn't work.

Congratulations you've been Behringered. They make cheap products and don't support them well.

I have a UMC202HD and could induce chirping sounds by placing my phone on top of the interface and using the network. Even if my phone was on the same desk as the interface doing nothing sometimes I would get random noises. My takeaway is that it had awful EMI resistance and there wasn't a whole lot I could do about it.

Or maybe, just maybe the UMC22 is a legacy device without support in the latest Behringer driver package and the OP should install the drivers that are compatible...
