My dog knocked over my pc when i was asleep and it no longer turns on, the computer was also off at the time. The power supply works as I've tested it with a paper clip, took the whole computer apart, reseated the cpu, and still the pc does not turn on. I'm thinking the issue is the motherboard but I'm not sure if it might be the cpu or both. Is the mobo able to turn on with a broken cpu or without one? If that's the case i'll assume the issue is the mobo, but when i google this i don't get a clear answer on this. I also tried to turn the pc on with nothing connect besides the mobo and psu but it still does not turn on. I also removed the cmos battery and put it back in but that did nothing. Also the mobo has 2 dark spots at the back of it what would that be? https://imgur.com/a/OLFl78z#A9YpXtK

Specs

Mobo: B450 tomahawk max
Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600

Psu: corsair cx650m

Your GPU may have been knocked out of the socket. Re-seat it and make sure it's secured. Also double check your cable connections from PC to monitor.

PSU Tier List   AMD Mobo Tier List   SSD Tier List

If your issue is resolved, please share the fix with the community.

I haven't even tested my gpu. I removed everything from the system. The gpu, ram, cpu, storage, all cords basically and tried to power the mobo and it does not turn on. The mobo seems to get no power. The psu fan does not spin (it did when i tested it with a paper clip) no mobo leds nothing. I haven't even tested any other component because i can't do to nothing happening with the mobo
