Corsair RMx (2021) 850 W - looking for (reasonably) priced cable extensions

Hey there!

 

I am currently looking for the right cable extensions, preferably black, for the Corsair RMx (2021) 850W.

The official ones seem to be sold out in my country and I am not entirely sure what to consider before looking at different brands.

This is my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2dsQTJ and I think it would be a shame to have it ruined be the normal looking cables, haha.

if you have any suggestions I'd be thankful!

The cables that come with the RMx PSU's have capacitors at the device side of the plugs to help reduce voltage ripple, the resistors are at the end of the ATX 24 pin, EPS, and GPU power IIRC. I have this PSU, but I am not home at the moment to check...

 

I assume cablemod would also provide cables with this option, but I wouldn't buy anything that doesn't since you would effectively be "reducing" the quality of the PSU you bought. The stock cables may not look "the best", but they help make the PSU have phenomenal ripple control.

are you looking for extensions, or replacement cables?

AKA:  Do you want /longer/ cords, or are you ditching what you have, and putting in new cables?

Good question @tkitch - either way. I mainly want to look the displayed cables to look good here without paying the same amount as for a PSU module in itself being honest, haha.
