Bottlenecking Question

Hello,

Im thinking about getting a RTX 3060 TI Founders Edition,
But im currently not sure if it gonna get bottlenecked by my AMD Ryzen 5 1400

Should i get a Processor upgrade as soon as possible after buying the RTX 3060 TI or is it going to be good?

Uh what?
The R5 1400 is a 4C/8T Zen 1 chip. Zen 1, while a lot better than Bulldozer and Piledriver before, isn't amazing today and the 4 cores will limit it a lot.

 

OP, what's your motherboard? I want to recommend a Ryzen 5 5600X but your motherboard most likely doesn't support it.

This isn't a good match at all. First gen Ryzen didn't age well

I got A Gigabyte B450 M DS3H | It support the 5000 series with an BIOS Update
Yeah probably also going to get a Ryzen 5 5600X
