Power input wobbly

Go to solution Solved by Somerandomtechyboi,

Just push it in as hard as you can without breaking the damn thing, pretty normal for it to be wobbly (atleast for me)

PC wasn't going on so tried to press in the power cord thing because I thought it had been nudged or something. It was all wobbly and made sort of sparking noises and although the PC turned on it didn't seem to connect with the monitor and make its usual noises and didn't react to anything. So I turned it off and unplugged it

to look at it. And it seemed like not only the cord in the plug but also the thing the cord goes into in itself was wobbling. I have no idea about computers so have no idea what to do now.

Anybody know what could be the cause of this? Any ideas for repair?

try a different cable, it may just be crappy/worn out. i've ran a display off a cable like this for years, but honestly just swap it out.

The thing is its not just the cable thats wobbly in the box port plug thing its also the box port plug thing itsself that wobbles in the casing
