https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wHtRZZ

This is the part list that I have so far. This PC will be used for gaming and schoolwork. I am unsure if the PSU I have picked will be enough for when I am able to obtain a 30 series card. Also, I currently have a 960 in my current PC and was wondering if there would be any benefit in installing that into this build. Any information/feedback will be truly appreciated.

It should be able to handle up to a 3070 Ti, with a 3080 being on the edge of enough.

A 960 would outperform the APU. You're better off getting a 5600X instead of the 5600G for the better single core performance and using the GTX 960 as the GPU.

Everything else looks fine, but I'd suggest getting a motherboard with BIOS flashback so you don't have to go through the effort of updating the BIOS with a loaner CPU. The MSI B550-A Pro should be good. Also, the WD SN750 is cheaper and performs about the same.
