It posts now, but i can't get into the BIOS. I've tried clearing the CMOS but still nope

Looking around online, I found this old post on the forums:

And it had this reply a ways down:

Hi all!

Im replying to this old post because I too had the issue of Ultra Fast boot and couldn't get into BIOS easily.

The solution above with Windows 10 Recovery boot, wasn't presenting the UEFI option for me so I couldn't get into BIOS that way.

However I found another nifty solution to disable Ultra Fast Boot!

Install Gigabytes APP Center + Fast Boot software. From there I could either boot into BIOS or just set the Boot type back to Normal or Fast Boot which solved my issue!

Hope this helps anyone in this timeline

I overclocked my nvidia 1070ti.

I did +225 on the core, and +700 on memory.

soon after the screen went black.

Note that i can't boot without the gpu, because i have a cpu without a integrated gpu (i3 10100f).

Also i can't get into the BIOS for some reason, (gigabyte B460M)

any help?

Do you mean you can't post, or that you can't get back into Windows?

Edit: Saw that you mentioned BIOS. Did you try reseting the CMOS?

There is a setting for a fast boot on a lot of motherboards. When that is set, you have to enter the BIOS using Windows. The second response to this thread explains how: https://www.tenforums.com/general-support/17962-how-enter-bios-when-fast-start-up-activated.html

Nope, did everything and still didn't work, doesn't post.

Then clearing CMOS might be the best option.

Are you saying that the computer doesn't post at all now, or just that you can't get into the BIOS?

And yet for some reason it still won't post when in bios... could it be because I'm using the gpu output? i can't use the cpu, because i don't have a integrated gpu
