I made this same post a while back but with no replies after I went into detail. So I experimented with this problem with this a bit more.

So for the past months, I've been getting bad quality issues with my videos that I upload. This is usually MORE NOTICEABLE if there is a lot of motion into the video.

I used the latest HTML5 player still looks like balls. I thought it might've been that I didn't update my flash player but when I check it was all up to date.

I thought it was my rendering settings but when I playback the video in my computer, everything is decent.

Pespective from Windows Media Player:

http://prntscr.com/38wh0w

Rendering settings I used:

http://prntscr.com/38wh8u

But when I playback the video on Youtube, still the same case.

http://prntscr.com/38whg8

Someone told me that my internet was the problem and I already switched to a new modem which REALLY didn't do a huge difference in fixing the bad quality upload aside from the speeds.

http://prntscr.com/38wi2x

I really confused on what the issues are. From other Youtubers who make videos, they seem REALLY clearer than mines.

I REALLY want to upload decent quality videos but with this in the way, there's no way it would be possible for that to happen.

This is the video I was talking about. I want you guys to watch it and see if you guys see some of the issues I was explaining in this post.

Any solutions after you guys watched the video?

It's watchable for me so I don't really see what the problem is. Probably something to do with youtube's quality settings.

I can

t see difference. I could do better if you provide original video and I download youtube version. I think you are being just impatient. It takes some time, usually a day, for youtube to encode uploads into higher resolutions. So immediedly after upload quality will seem to be not-so-good.

I have some videos I could show you that still have this problem that was uploaded 4-5 months back. I just thought maybe it needs more time for it to process BUT I'M PRETTY SURE 5 months is WAYYY too long.

One of the videos that were 4-5 months back like this, still has the "bad quality" I was talking about. If I (or you) look at the video closely, it feels like the video doesn't have clearer details than the original one.

The Uploaded Version: http://prntscr.com/3940vn

The Original: http://prntscr.com/3940hq

Since you're asking for that one Montage Preview I was showing before, here's the download link.

Then tell me if you can see the difference between the uploaded version and the original file. Try looking around the video closely and tell me if you can see that the details shown from the uploaded version looks pixelated or blurry in some way.

From those screenshots is impossible to tell anything. One seems to be cropped or zoomed somehow. For 1080p youtube download and original I could see some differences but those really are minimal. Imo its youtube that is doing something in processing. You could try with different original file formats but I don't think it really does help.

I'll check some of my own videos to see if there's anything similiar on them.

I provided the original download. It should be the one with the Mediafire link.

.

Honestly viewing your video in 1080p looks fine. Youtube does it's compression when you upload it (which you can't avoid) which is probably the difference between watching your videos from your computer vs watching them on YouTube.

Although, if you do really really need that extra quality, (which you probably don't),you can render your 1080p video as a higher resolution, like 1440p. This will allow for a higher bit rate, which will make your video look even better.

jackfrags made a video about it. And explains everything. Notice how you can set the resolution to 1440p (which was called Original quality) on that video. If you watch it at 1440p you will have to buffer and wait for it longer than you would with 720 or 1080p.

I wouldn't worry about it though, most people watch gameplay videos at 720p so, since it looks decent and it buffers easily.

I've already watched that video. I kinda do consider in doing that but wouldn't I have to sacrifice storage? I know that rendering in 1440p are huge in file size.

Also, I don't know if I'm the only person here but, I kinda think Youtube kinda washes out some of the color in my videos and ruins the quality by somewhat a lot. I really have no clue why my videos seem to be watchable with other people when I can't even stand to watch the quality of my videos.
