Windows 11 multiple desktop customization

is there any way to customize windows 11 multiple desktop so each one has thier own icons and programs , right now im failing to see how useful it really is.

for example if I have one desktop for all of my stuff for learning Python how can I have programs and folders or shortcuts to folders that would only show up on that desktop and not say my gaming desktop?
