You can choose which devices GMiner uses, and then you can choose just the GPU that isn't connected to your monitor, leaving the one connected to your monitor free to use for whatever else you're doing.

If you have a mixed rig, you can run the miner only on CUDA devices:

or on devices of your choice, such as GPU0 GPU2 and GPU4:
miner --algo ethash --server eth.2miners.com:2020 --user 0x5218597d48333d4a70cce91e810007b37e2937b5.worker1 --devices 0 2 4
the list of available GPUs can be seen by calling the following command:
miner --list_devices

 

Hi, I have 2x rx 480 8gb  and I am mining with GMiner and is there any way to mine with just 1 gpu and with game with 1 gpu? I cant find any way... When I am starting mining it mines with 2 gpus and I want to stop 1 GPU and use it for Fifa... Thanks <3
