Gpu upgrade

Go to solution Solved by jaslion,

First things first that evga psu HAS to go that is a terrible not safe to use unit.

After that well lets say 320$ is left and that can get you a gtx 1660ti performance level card on the used market or a gtx 1650 super new.

This is my current build i got about 2 years ago and am looking to upgrade starting with the gpu.

I have seen youtube videos about the gtx 1650 super, 1660 super, rx 500 series and even the 5000 series gpus.

I have a budget of around 400$ cad and am open to upgrading my power supply if needed as i have seen that it is not a very good one. Can someone also tell me if my cpu is good enough for playing games like destiny 2 or apex legends?

Which psu should i go with?

An A or B tier unit from the psu tier list:

I tend to recommend the msi mpg series, Enermax revolution D.F. or Corsair rm(x) ones. Better to spend a bit of money on a great psu then gamble your system on a bad one. The 650w versions is what I recommend ( or if the higher ones are like within 10$ of the 650w ones get those even more options for future upgrades) can easily go up to a 3060ti on that. Of course the next upgrade you should do is the cpu as a pure 4core/4thread thingy isn't a good cpu for games nowadays.
