is this a good idea

GloriousGamer321

i am planning on having the LG Electronics UltraGear 27GN750-B and the Dell S2721QS

4k monitor for non competitive and just, monitor to make the game as fresh and good looking as possible also for editing

the LG monitor is going to be for competitive games, monitor to play games with maximum fps and so i don't lag out

Is this a good idea?

Honestly fine enough, but at 27 inch you really only need 1440p to make it looks "as best as it could".

well why not 4k it fits in my budget, you might not say it isn't necessary but, if it fits in my budget then it is necessary

there is a difference for 4k even at 27inch, everything will look sharper, honestly the S2721QS is a really good choice for 4k 60hz at that price range (there are a bunch of garbage monitors in that price range at 4k 60hz and this is not one of them).

I'd say your setup is very good for the budget as theres a difference between 1440p and 4k if you use it for consoles or netflix (i have a 4k and 1440p 27inch side by side)

for the 240hz monitor i'd switch to the VG259QM as you'd be counting pixels if the monitor was 27inch at 1080p
