Activate Windows

So I build my new gaming PC, and I have runned into an issue. My copy of Windows 10 Home was supposed to activate itself after I logged in my Microsoft Account. But it didn't. How to I activate Windows then?

I think you need to take that up with the Microsoft Windows customer service.

Do you have a retail Windows key tied to your Microsoft account? That's the only way that is going to happen, and how I activate my PC's. 

 

If not, then no that won't happen automatically. You'd have to buy a retail key from MIcrosoft.

I assume you do not have in your possession the key, because if you do, then we might be able to get Windows activated.

If you don't, there are plenty of cheap keys you can buy from places like Kinguin

If that's accurate, this goes back to what @HanZie82said about MS Customer Service. Honestly, it should be a pretty easy call/chat.
