Zotac Magnus One / RTX 3070 keeps crashing

sbouafif

Hello,

I've got a Zotac Magnus One 10 days ago but keep having video issues. After a few days of working properly it kept on crashing. For example when I start the pc after a few minutes it shut down or freezes automatically. After some debugging/reinstalling drivers every work well for a few hours. The day after, same thing doesn't work well on start then after 30 minutes it works well. Edit: When I push it harder for gaming it crashes after a few minutes but one time I was able to game for 2/3 hours with no errors / crashing

Here's my setup :

Intel i7 10700

Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge

Corsair Vengeance SODIMM 32Go (2x16Go) DDR4 2933MHz C19

Samsung SSD Interne 860 EVO

3 x 4k Dell monitors (using DP). I use only one for gaming

Most of my use time is for work

Here's what I tried mostly in that order :

- Reinstalling Windows and drivers

- Updating all the drivers

- Flashing BIOS
- Changing the fan curve for better cooling

- Reinstalling gpu drivers without DDU
- Removing drivers with DDU / Clean install of latest Nvidia drivers

Also when using only the Intel discrete GPU, the screen goes black every few seconds/minutes.

I added a few pictures if that helps.

- The green bands happen when the GPU is not recognised and the discrete Intel GPU is used

- GPU-Z and MSI Afterburner show the fan curve after 10/15 minutes playing Forza 4 (4k ultra optimized by Geforce Experience)

- DirectX error after a few minutes of GTAV (using only 3.5G of GPU RAM)

I'm running out of ideas. Am I missing something? Could this be hardware related?

It's 1AM where I live so I'll follow up tomorrow morning
