Need help planning a new build

Hey guys,
I am a bit confused as to how I should go about planning a build. The thing is, I dont do much gaming, and I mostly need it to do rendering, 3D animations and programming. Am I wrong in saying that I dont need to spend much on my GPU?
I have decided to opt for a Ryzen 5 5600X. I really don't know what I should think about next. Any help would be appreciated!

P.S. my budget is fluid at the moment, but it will be around $1000.

Welcome to the forums!

I'd say go with a Radeon Pro W6600, they're around $500, built for CAD, and in stock/available at most US retailers. If that's too expensive buy a Radeon Pro WX 5100. Lower end and a bit cheaper but still optimized for CAD purposes.
