What should I upgrade?

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Apex Legends, valorant, new world, obs, and gta v

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): i7-7700k, asus maximus ix code, 32gb 3000mhz, 2060, and ssds. 

I am looking to upgrade my computer and am wondering what to upgrade first. Any suggestions?

Either way, you're stuck with the MOBO, since both LGA 1200 and AM4 are no longer a thing with the new generations.  However...AM5 or whatever AMD will be using in the 6000 series, is supposed to be able to use the same coolers as AM4.  (no such luck with LGA 1700 vs LGA 1200).

I forgot to mention that I play on 1440p, would that effect anything?

No.  2060 should be up to the challenge either way.
