Splitter question

if I use one of this http://www.pcdiga.com/2/6376/Sharkoon-Cabo-3-Pin-Y-Splitter , will the board/ Asus Ai Suite III be able to controll the the speed of both fans?  Will control them equally like if they were 1 fan?

and the two fans I will connect are the exact same fan, so that should be even better :D
