Astro A50 Mic Question/Help

rpalmz46

Hi,

I just recently bought some astro a50's and i really like the headset for comfort and sound quality but my friends are saying the microphone on discord sounds bad or not as good as my previous one. The main thing I don't understand though is that my microphone sounds pretty good when I use it and record in audacity. I sent it to my friend and he said that's not how I sound on discord. Anyone have any fixes or tips to maybe help with this issue.

Try changing some Discord settings, specifically the Voice Processing settings. I know one can cause bad quality but cant remember which one

I have tried changing almost everything I believe and doesnt seem to fix the issue. Plugged in my g pro x and the voice is way better with all the same settings.
