How simple was the switch-over?

I'm a little annoyed about how lastpass has increased their pricing over the years.

You can export all data from LastPass in csv format. Then import those to Bitwarden. Rest is just normal teaching app to what addresses or apps are for which accounts, which sites are nope on saving anything (banking sites for me).

Only thing that required more getting used to is that Bitwarden is much harder on account safety. It looks locks vault on every browser restart or daily on mobile.  Which on the other hand is nice, but bit painful at times when master password is long.

I use Bitwarden, works on Chrome, Windows, Android and probably iOS (they probably have an app for it, not 100% sure). Lot of feature, free to use unless you want to use a physical 2 factor key, and you can even self-host it if you don't trust Bitwarden's servers.

I switched from LP to BW after LP changed their policy. BW isn't as nice to use, but it gets it done. Bare in mind you do need to go through the settings on every device to configure them (log out times, etc), or was that on LP? Cannot remember. Anyways go through the options thoroughly. By default one (or both) of them never logged out, which isn't good in office enviornment.

Now i know you ask for a free option, but i would leave a paid suggestion. I use Keeper and I find it strange that it doesn't get mentioned more when the topic is up. If anyone know why please tell me!
