Lighting on Logitech g502

So, my friend has a Logitech g502 hero and, I know it is not important, but it is realy bothering him. Do you know how to make those dashes on g502 to always light them, because they are just lighting up when he presses dip up, down or dpi shift?

He wants all three lit up all the time? Or his lights aren't lit all the time for which DPI mode he is in? I have two of these, and both of them the hash marks stay lit for which mode you are in constantly.

The DPI Lighting setting Always On makes it stay on. I then set my "normal" DPI setting to be the one that shows up with all 3 bars lit so they all light up all the time.

 

And I absolutely understand his frustration. It really bothered me too until I got it setup like that.
