Hp laptop reserved ram problem

So i have a hp laptop 15q-dy0004au (amd 2200u and vega 3 grapichs) and i upgraded my ram to 8 gb but only 6.9gb ram is usable 1gb goes to my gpu which barely touches 300mb ram so i would like that extra ram for some minecraft can anyone help?

You *may* be able to adjust those setting in the BIOS, otherwise you are probably out of luck.

Can not do that do you know any way to unlock it i just don't know why hp does this if i would have known this issue i would haave taken something else

I"m not a fan of HP products, this is just one of many reasons I don't like them. However, don't write it off just yet, others may have some better ideas than me
